Manage agents and models

With administrative Chat permissions, open Settings → Administration → Agents. The area includes agents, models and agent defaults. Older links using “chatbot” continue to lead to this guide.

Edit an agent

Select an existing agent or the offered creation action. Maintain its instructions and the available sections for behavior, knowledge, skills, connections or runtime capabilities. Use offered models and grant only necessary tools.

Add confidential knowledge only to an agent with an appropriate audience. Assignment does not replace individual provider sign-in or source permissions.

Save and verify

Save the change and check its save state. If an editing conflict appears, compare your changes with the stored revision before saving again. Then run a small task as an intended user: its answer, sources and tool access should match the purpose.

Use tests for repeatable quality checks and connections for provider setup.
