Resolve service setup problems
Open My Services, select the affected service and record the current state and reference before taking another action.
| State or symptom | Next step |
|---|---|
| Configuration required | An organization Owner or Admin submits the required configuration. For openDesk, complete all four steps. |
| Awaiting approval | Check the pending order. Internal review is still required; another submission does not accelerate it. |
| Provisioning | Follow the displayed progress. Avoid starting another conflicting operation. |
| Updating | Wait for the operation’s outcome. A shared product rollout can also trigger this state. |
| Test mode / rendered | The deployment rendered configuration only. No service was started and no launch link is expected. |
| Provisioning failed | Keep the exact error and reference for support. An operator must resolve the cause before retrying infrastructure work. |
| Chat opening link absent | Check the availability and provisioning state. A failed service check can hide the link; a seat assignment does not repair a failed tenant. |
| Seat order approved but person lacks access | Confirm assignment of the released capacity and wait for synchronization. Approval alone does not select every user. |
| Change control unavailable | Check your role, ongoing operations, immutable settings and dependent services. |
| Deletion waiting or blocked | Follow the deletion operation’s prerequisites and reference. Provisioning or identity work can delay verified cleanup. |
Verify recovery
Section titled “Verify recovery”Confirm the intended state and then perform the operation you needed: open Chat and use it, open the configured openDesk portal, or confirm the deletion receipt. A finished workflow or order alone is insufficient for all of these outcomes.
Escalate with evidence
Section titled “Escalate with evidence”Contact support with organization, service reference, state, error, time and last successful action. For openDesk, mention test mode and whether configuration was submitted. For Chat, distinguish service availability from one person’s access.
