Create and use skills

Skills bundle reusable instructions and resources. They are separate from a provider connection and its tool permissions.

Prepare a skill

1. Open Settings → Skills.
2. Select an available skill or start your own using the offered creation action.
3. Describe its purpose, expected result and required resources. Review included files before sharing it.
4. Save with the offered action.

Use the skill in the task interface when offered. Organization administrators can assign skills to agents. Visibility does not necessarily grant permission to edit a skill.

Verify its effect

Try a small task and review the answer and tool activity. A skill cannot establish a missing provider sign-in or bypass access rights. Configure connections for that purpose.
