Use API access

API access appears under Settings → API when enabled for your installation. Use the base address, available models and generated examples shown there.

  1. Open the API area and review its key-management guidance.
  2. Create a key through the offered confirmation action.
  3. Store the key in your client’s secure configuration.
  4. Use the displayed Python, cURL or supported-client example.
  5. Send a small request and inspect the response or error.

The interface provides chat-completions examples. This does not promise full compatibility with every feature of an external API provider. Use only endpoints and model identifiers supported by your installation.

Revoke an unused or exposed key in the API area and check that the client can no longer access it. Never put keys in source code, chat messages or support requests.
