Manage files and documents

The Files area inside Chat includes the private library and, when installed and connected, provider-backed storage. Available actions follow the selected source and your rights.

Location Purpose
Private file library Files for your work with the assistant; available without a Work plugin.
AUTARQ Files The configured AUTARQ working-file source.
SharePoint Sites and document libraries your Microsoft connection and organization policy allow.
OneDrive Your connected Microsoft account’s own drive.
Google Drive The locations available through the connected Google account.

Use the sidebar and breadcrumb to confirm the destination. SharePoint offers configured sites, followed sites and permitted discovery where enabled. OneDrive opens your own drive directly. Pin locations you need regularly; available sidebar sections can be arranged or hidden.

  1. Select the intended source and folder.
  2. Use the offered upload, new folder or document action.
  3. Open the item or its details for preview, download and available metadata.
  4. Use rename, copy or move only where the source allows them.
  5. Wait for confirmation and check the destination again.

Read-only locations disable writes with a reason. Copying and moving follow the offered source boundaries. Provider version history appears where supported. Document creation and embedded Office editing also need the enabled Office capability.

For SharePoint and OneDrive, Copy link copies the existing provider URL and does not grant a new permission. Use Open in SharePoint/OneDrive for provider sharing administration. Their delete action moves items to the corresponding recycle bin.

Other sources expose their own sharing and deletion controls. Read the confirmation for that source before deleting.

Published response files open in the result panel and can be downloaded. Office and OpenDocument results use the configured viewer and are read-only; previewing them does not create an editable Work copy. See assistant results.

A connection request means provider setup or permission is missing. Temporary Microsoft throttling shows a retry delay instead of asking you to reconnect. If a save fails, retain your work and verify the source state before repeating it.
