Set up Microsoft 365 for the organization

You need administrative Chat permissions and appropriate Entra rights for Microsoft-side setup. Use the Microsoft 365 setup offered by the connection.

Coordinate setup

1. Check which Microsoft apps and members are actually available to the organization.
2. Configure the Entra application details and allowed access required by the connection.
3. Complete necessary Microsoft administrator consent.
4. Review app availability and the intended agent’s Microsoft permissions.
5. Have a test person establish their personal connection.

Provider setup, Store availability, app installation, agent permissions and personal source rights are separate prerequisites. Successful consent does not prove working mail, file or Teams access.

Accept each area separately

Check required areas individually: select the source, read an authorized item and perform an intended change only with suitable approval. Test OneNote separately from To Do and Planner. For support, retain the time, affected area and error, without tokens or application secrets.

Entra integration for sign-in and directory is separate.
