Manage Chat plans, seats and roles
You need the organization’s Owner or Admin portal role to manage the Chat roster, seats, roles and paid-seat orders. Only the organization Owner transfers Chat ownership. These controls are in the customer portal under My Services → Autarq Chat.
Check capacity
Section titled “Check capacity”Open Team & access. Check the contract, plan lines, assigned places and pending invitations. A reserved invitation consumes capacity. The displayed effective allowance and approved plan determine what remains; the Starter allowance can have tenant-specific policy adjustments.
An active seat and a Chat role are both required for access. Portal membership itself does not consume a Chat place.
Add paid places
Section titled “Add paid places”- Choose Add paid seats.
- Select Team Standard or Team Premium, the offered term and quantity.
- Review the published price and optionally select existing Starter users for an upgrade.
- Submit and follow the order’s approval state.
An internal AUTARQ Admin releases the booked inventory through manual approval. This approval does not process a payment or create an invoice. Existing terms and price snapshots remain part of the order.
Assign or change a place
Section titled “Assign or change a place”After approval, select an existing person under Team & access or People. Choose a plan with capacity and the intended Chat role: Admin, User or Viewer. For a new person, send an invitation with a reserved place.
Selected Starter upgrades apply during approval if the assignment is still unchanged. Otherwise the new capacity remains available for manual assignment. A plan can be changed without first revoking the existing seat. Synchronization with Chat can take a short time.
Transfer Chat ownership
Section titled “Transfer Chat ownership”The current contract owner must retain an active seat. To transfer ownership, the organization’s Owner chooses another active organization identity with an effective active Chat seat. Assign the successor’s place first if necessary, then use the ownership control. The owner role cannot be edited in the ordinary Chat-role selector.
Withdraw access
Section titled “Withdraw access”Withdrawing a seat removes Chat access and keeps user data. Removing the person from the organization has broader deletion consequences.
Verify the result
Section titled “Verify the result”Check the person’s effective plan and role in the portal and their access in Chat. An expired trial, unavailable tenant, blocked identity or pending synchronization can prevent use even when a seat line exists. Send support the service reference and displayed state if it does not converge.
